Since I finally have the time to blog, I shall take this moment to talk about an event I am attending with fellow Singaporean blogger, Fadilla! Special thanks to Mediacorp for the sponsored tickets for The Final 1's finale performance!

If you have been following the recent trends and what's popular among all the coolest teens in Singapore, you would probably know about The Final 1 #thefinal1rp.

Vincent (left) and Sherrie (right) are probably the talk of the town amongst the teens in the city right now. They have sang their way through the hundreds of contestants to be standing in those very positions to face each other for the title of The Final One.

The Final 1 is a Singaporean reality singing competition programme created by the director of Hype Records, Ken Lim. The judges line up includes the winner of Singapore's first season of Singapore Idol in 2004, Taufik Batisah, singer-actress, Kit Chan, and the creator himself, Ken Lim.

A few weeks ago, I blogged about getting the opportunity to attend the Final One’s top 3 elimination round at Mediacorp.

It was pretty exciting to see what’s happening behind the scenes while the contestants were anxiously waiting for the results of who is going to make it through the top 3 and which one of them will be heading home that night with their dreams crashing down before them. Fadilla and I even had the opportunity to have a short chat with the 4 contestants after their results were released. We came to know how they felt about the results and how they planned to utilized the awards if they win. We also spoke to Mingyang, the top 4th contestant, as he had been eliminated on that very day.

Mingyang: "It has been a wonderful journey and I have met some of the most amazing friends here, it was such an honour to have been able to work with a few of Singapore's most famous people in the industry and I have really learnt a lot from them"

We even got to take a picture with him!!!!1!!

So next week, 21st August 2014, Fadilla and I will be attending the FINALE! We're so stoked and have already started picking out our wardrobe for that night. ;)
